Mumbai is hard on metal. Sea breeze carries salt deep into the suburbs, and from June to September balconies are wet almost every day. Ordinary MS grills begin to rust within a season or two. We use 316 marine-grade stainless steel — the grade made for coastal conditions — so the cables stay bright and strong through monsoon after monsoon, with no painting or rust treatment.
Why Mumbai societies prefer invisible grills
Many housing societies across Mumbai restrict box grills because they change the facade and make the building look cluttered. Glass railings
Many new Mumbai towers have glass railings. We mount the bottom track behind or above the glass so the railing is not drilled.

Close 2" spacing discourages pigeons. Where nesting is heavy, we combine the grill with anti-bird netting in one visit.
